CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to build and manage talent pipelines for engineering roles across aerospace, defense, and advanced technology. You will partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent in systems engineering, RF/communications, avionics, software, manufacturing, and related aerospace domains.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles; building and owning high-quality candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs; creating talent maps across key competitors and niche skill sets; driving consistent delivery of qualified candidates; and serving as a subject matter expert on aerospace and defense talent markets, including cleared talent. You will provide insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive positioning to recruiters and hiring managers.
You will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needs, participate in intake meetings to calibrate candidate profiles, and help refine job requirements. You will proactively engage passive candidates through personalized outreach, conduct initial screenings to assess technical expertise and domain knowledge, and build strong candidate relationships while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will also track and report on pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and channel performance.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within aerospace, defense, or engineering-driven industries
- Proven success sourcing for niche, hard-to-fill technical roles
- Strong understanding of aerospace and defense roles (systems engineering, avionics, RF, software, manufacturing)
- Familiarity with U.S. security clearances and related hiring considerations
- Expertise in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, or similar platforms
- Experience with ATS and CRM systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to track and interpret sourcing data
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment
