Lovable is a software creation platform that democratizes software development, enabling people with ideas to build without requiring deep technical expertise or massive capital. Since launch in November 2024, over 60 million projects have been built on the platform by solopreneurs, small business owners, and teams at companies like Adidas and Zendesk. Recognized as one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies and featured on Forbes AI 50 and CNBC Disruptor 50, Lovable is one of Europe's fastest-growing AI companies.
As Tech Procurement Specialist, you will own the end-to-end sourcing and vendor management function for Lovable's rapidly expanding technology stack. You'll manage 10–25 live procurement processes at any given time with multi-million dollar portfolio value, setting playbooks from scratch rather than inheriting legacy processes. Your decisions directly impact company P&L, giving you visibility from individual negotiations to enterprise financials.
You will run complete sourcing cycles: needs assessment, market scanning, RFP/RFQ creation, commercial modeling, legal negotiation, vendor selection, contract signature, and renewal readiness. You'll partner closely with Finance on FP&A, Product and Engineering on technical requirements, Legal on risk management, and Partnerships on strategic deals. You'll translate technical vendor capabilities into commercial implications, model complex pricing structures (discounts, usage scenarios, minimums, overages, renewal options), and pressure-test vendor claims.
Beyond individual deals, you'll systematize procurement: building vendor intelligence databases, establishing deal benchmarking, enriching contract and SLA data, and evolving intake, approvals, and contract lifecycle management systems. You'll automate routine tasks—vendor research, contract extraction, renewal alerts, approval routing—freeing judgment for high-stakes negotiations.
You bring prior experience in tech procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management at a comparable growth-stage company. You're a sharp commercial negotiator who knows when to push, walk away, or escalate; you reframe contract terms to create mutual value, not just chase lower numbers. You're technically fluent enough to partner with engineers and PMs, financially rigorous in modeling scenarios and walk-away positions, and process-minded about turning one-offs into repeatable playbooks. You're comfortable with messy data from contracts, invoices, and vendor portals, and you leverage AI as a default tool. Some SQL, scripting, or no-code experience is valuable but curiosity matters more than existing skill.
