You will lead a pod of Provider Relations Managers (PRMs) responsible for driving provider adoption, engagement, ordering, retention, and growth across Cadence markets. This role combines people leadership with hands-on field execution—you'll be accountable for pod performance while spending 2-3 weeks per month in-market alongside PRMs, providers, and clinic stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and coach a team of PRMs through 1:1s, performance reviews, field observations, and ongoing feedback
- Own pod-level performance against provider growth, ordering, engagement, retention, and churn reduction goals
- Translate performance data into clear priorities and action plans; drive consistent execution of core PRM operating rhythms (onboarding, follow-up, clinic engagement, Salesforce hygiene, field activity)
- Spend significant time in the field observing execution, providing real-time coaching, and supporting high-priority opportunities
- Model effective provider conversations, objection handling, workflow development, and clear order/referral asks in complex clinic environments
- Identify and address workflow barriers limiting provider adoption or ordering; scale repeatable approaches across providers, clinics, and markets
- Build and improve materials, playbooks, talk tracks, and tools PRMs use to execute; partner with Growth, Product, Care Delivery, and Partnerships to close enablement gaps
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of people management experience leading commercial, sales, field account management, provider engagement, customer success, or similar teams
- Experience managing at least 5 direct reports or equivalent team scope, with teams accountable to measurable monthly or quarterly goals
- Provider-facing healthcare experience influencing physicians, clinic staff, health system stakeholders, or healthcare operators
- Demonstrated ability to improve performance through coaching, feedback, metric inspection, and clear accountability
- Ability to travel regularly for in-market field coaching (2-3 weeks per month); access to a well-connected major airport required
- Fluency with AI research and productivity tools; ability to evaluate AI-driven insights critically
Preferred: RPM, CCM, APCM, chronic care, value-based care, ACO, digital health, healthcare SaaS, or medical device experience; Salesforce experience; experience building playbooks, onboarding programs, or field operating rhythms.
