Kong is hiring an ADR Team Lead to support the NEMEA region (UK, Benelux, and Nordics). This is a player-coach role where you'll carry your own pipeline targets while actively developing the team around you, particularly newer ADRs ramping into the role.
You'll report to the Senior Manager for NEMEA and work closely with the leadership team to shape how the team operates. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with a leadership layer: the natural next step for an ADR ready to make other people better, not just themselves.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry your own number: Hit your own pipeline targets as an active ADR, setting the standard through your activity and results. Contribute to weekly forecasting alongside the Senior Manager.
- Support newer ADRs: Be the first point of contact for less tenured reps, helping them ramp faster and build good habits early. Run regular 1:1s, help with onboarding, and develop individual development plans grounded in real assessment of each rep's attitude, process, and results. Flag underperformance early with context.
- Coach and upskill the team: Support team coaching sessions including live dialling, pitch practice, and feedback loops. Run or contribute to upskilling initiatives. Share best practices, sequences, and outbound approaches. Give direct, specific feedback regularly, recognizing strong work and addressing bad habits.
- Sharpen process and tooling: Identify where team workflows and tooling could run more efficiently. Support the Senior Manager in rolling out improvements. Be the go-to person for best practice on Salesforce, Outreach, and automation tools.
- Contribute to wider GTM motion: Maintain strong alignment with AE partners. Participate in pipe review cadences. Support the Senior Manager in preparing performance updates and regional insights. Join bi-weekly RD cadences as appropriate.
The NEMEA team is already strong and driven. They need someone who sharpens how the team works around process and tooling while ensuring newer reps get support to ramp fast. You'll report to Oscar Winberg, who moves fast, sets a high bar, and expects solutions backed by data. He values directness and will hand real ownership to those who earn his trust.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on ADR or SDR experience; you know this job from the inside
- Real coach's instinct; you get energy from making other people better
- Ability to juggle competing priorities (own quota, coaching, process work) without dropping the ball
- Strong time management skills
- Bias for building; you spot what needs fixing and go build it
- Analytical rigor; you make calls based on data, not gut feel
- Track record of real discipline across leading indicators (activity, sequence execution, pipeline hygiene) and lagging indicators (quota attainment, pipeline generated)
- Real trust with AE and RD partners earned through consistency
- Transparency with leadership, especially when something isn't on track
- Presence the team looks up to
- Comfort in an allbound model with heavy outbound emphasis
- Self-awareness and genuine investment in growing as a leader
- Language skills relevant to UK, Benelux, or Nordics are a bonus, not required
