Salary: USD 98,900 - 172,900 / annual

Twitch, the world's largest live streaming platform, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. You will report to the Senior Director, Head of Tax and work collaboratively with tax planning and tax operations/compliance professionals to support Twitch's unique digital entertainment business. In this role, you will analyze and document U.S. and international direct tax, indirect tax, and tax reporting/compliance impacts of Twitch projects, programs, products, and strategic initiatives. You will manage relationships with outside counsel and external tax advisors on advisory requests and documentation related to direct tax, indirect tax, and compliance matters. A key responsibility is educating business clients, Twitch Tax team members, and cross-functional stakeholders—ranging from junior to executive level—on tax issues and technical analysis. You will also socialize final tax requirements with internal teams including Legal, Accounting, Marketing, and Commerce. You will work closely with business, legal, and finance partners across Twitch and Amazon, advising on important projects and coordinating key tax positions across Amazon's broader digital business portfolio. The role offers flexibility in location: you may work in Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle, with the primary posting location in New York. REQUIREMENTS: - CPA or JD (LLM, Master of Tax, or relevant tax practice experience) - 3+ years of experience in Big 4 firms, law firms, or equivalent in-house environments supporting multinational digital enterprises on tax planning - Recent experience providing practical, business-facing guidance on U.S. and/or non-U.S. tax issues pertaining to international digital businesses and digital products - Familiarity with direct and indirect tax concepts including U.S. income tax, U.S. withholding tax, U.S. tax reporting, treaty permanent establishments, transfer pricing, U.S. SALT, non-U.S. VATs, DSTs, and non-U.S. reporting (e.g., DAC 7) BONUS: - Knowledge of and experience with Twitch - Experience in entertainment/media businesses, ads businesses, or social media platform businesses
