Salary: USD 89,900 - 157,200 / annual

Twitch, the world's largest live streaming platform, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. You will report to the Senior Director, Head of Tax and work on US and international tax planning for Twitch's digital entertainment business. This role involves analyzing and documenting direct tax, indirect tax, and tax reporting/compliance impacts of Twitch projects, products, and initiatives. You will manage relationships with outside counsel and external tax advisors on advisory requests and documentation matters. A key responsibility is educating business clients, tax team members, and cross-functional stakeholders (ranging from junior to executive level) on tax issues and technical analysis. You will also socialize final tax requirements with internal teams including Legal, Accounting, Marketing, and Commerce. You will collaborate closely with other members of the Twitch Tax team (tax planning and tax ops/compliance functions) and work with cross-functional partners from Twitch and Amazon on important projects, products, and initiatives. The role offers flexibility in location: you can work in Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA. REQUIREMENTS: - CPA or JD (LLM, Master of Tax, or relevant tax practice experience) - 3+ years of experience in a Big 4 firm, law firm, or equivalent in-house environment supporting multinational digital enterprises on tax planning - Recent experience providing practical business-facing guidance on US and/or non-US tax issues pertaining to international digital businesses and digital products - Familiarity with direct and indirect tax concepts including US income tax, US withholding tax, US tax reporting, treaty PEs, transfer pricing, US SALT, and non-US VATs, DSTs, and non-US reporting (e.g., DAC 7) BONUS: Knowledge of Twitch; experience in entertainment/media, ads, or social media platform businesses.
