Rapyd is a global fintech platform unifying payments, payouts, and financial services across 150+ countries. The company operates offices in Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Singapore, Iceland, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and the US, serving as a critical infrastructure layer for global commerce.
You will join Rapyd's Global Tax team as Tax Manager, owning and scaling the company's EU and international regulatory reporting obligations end-to-end. Based in Amsterdam or London, you'll be the in-house expert for complex tax matters including CESOP, FATCA, CRS, DAC6, DAC7, and emerging EU regulatory requirements. You'll report directly to the VP Global Tax and partner closely with Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Manage all EU jurisdictions where Rapyd operates: data extraction, reconciliation, submission coordination with local advisors, quality control, and regulatory correspondence management.
• Own FATCA and CRS compliance globally: entity classification reviews, due diligence procedures, reportable account identification, annual reporting submissions, and IRS/competent authority compliance.
• Lead DAC6 (mandatory disclosure rules) and DAC7 (digital platform reporting) compliance across EU entities, including hallmark assessments, intermediary obligations, and external counsel coordination.
• Advise on new product launches, payment flows, and business model changes from a regulatory reporting perspective.
• Build scalable data pipelines and reporting infrastructure in partnership with Product, Data, Legal, and Finance, reducing manual effort and improving data quality.
• Monitor EU legislative developments, assess business impact, and recommend actions to senior management.
• Support tax audits and inquiries from EU tax authorities; manage relationships with external advisors.
• Contribute to broader Global Tax function including transfer pricing, corporate income tax compliance, and VAT as capacity allows.
This role is ideal for a tax professional with financial institutions or payment service provider (PSP) experience who thrives building scalable processes from the ground up rather than inheriting finished systems, and who is energized by the complexity of the evolving EU regulatory tax reporting landscape.
