The Tax Manager will support a broad range of corporate tax functions including tax provision, compliance, and planning. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations, and supporting strategic tax initiatives. The position partners cross-functionally with finance, legal, and external advisors to drive efficient tax operations and informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include: - Managing and assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including related financial reporting requirements - Preparing and reviewing reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts - Overseeing and coordinating the preparation of U.S. federal, state, and international tax returns, as well as non-income and informational filings with external service providers - Supporting the preparation and review of tax return workpapers, ensuring alignment with financial reporting - Reviewing state income tax apportionment calculations, state filings, and select pro forma federal returns prepared by external advisors - Calculating and preparing quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments - Maintaining and managing the global tax compliance calendar in collaboration with third-party providers - Partnering with external advisors on the annual R&D tax credit study, including data collection, analysis, and coordination with internal stakeholders REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline - 5–8 years of relevant tax experience (public accounting experience preferred or a mix of public and private) - Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate tax principles - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability to research tax laws and apply sound judgment to reach well-reasoned conclusions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - CPA certification strongly preferred - Experience with ASC 740 tax provision processes and reporting - General understanding of international tax concepts - Demonstrated project and program management skills - Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
