Read AI is seeking a Talent Partner to own full-cycle recruiting for either the Product & Design or Engineering team. You'll manage 6+ concurrent searches spanning early-career through senior individual contributor and manager-level roles, from initial intake through offer close.
In this role, you'll run the complete recruiting lifecycle: conduct intake meetings to translate hiring needs into written briefs and interview plans, screen candidates with sufficient technical fluency to calibrate with hiring managers, and manage offer negotiations and closes. You'll build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing on LinkedIn, GitHub, Dribbble, and community channels, writing personalized outreach that generates responses. You'll coordinate interview loops across busy panels, prepare interviewers and candidates for productive conversations, and run debriefs that lead to clear, calibrated hiring decisions.
You'll partner closely with hiring managers to provide market intelligence, flag at-risk requisitions early, and push back with data when needed. You'll own recruiting operations in Ashby, maintaining interview plans, stages, scorecards, and data hygiene. You'll also help the broader talent team by reviewing sourcing strategies, supporting staff-level and leadership searches, and experimenting with AI tools and automation to improve sourcing, candidate prep, and coordination workflows.
Read AI is a well-funded ($81M) AI-powered collaboration platform that integrates with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and other tools. The company is growing rapidly and values AI-native approaches to recruiting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with significant time hiring for technical roles (Engineering, Product, and/or Design)
- Experience owning senior IC searches and ideally first-line manager searches
- Proven sourcing skills: ability to build a slate from scratch and write outreach that gets responses
- Comfort partnering directly with hiring managers, including pushing back with data when needed
- Strong recruiting operations expertise and hands-on knowledge of a modern ATS (Ashby strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational skills to manage 6+ concurrent searches without dropping details
- Clear, warm communication with candidates at every stage
- Track record of closing candidates in competitive markets
- Curiosity about AI and how it can change recruiting work
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience setting up or improving ATS workflows, automations, or dashboards (e.g., Ashby interview plans, custom reports)
- Experience building AI agents, prompts, or AI-assisted workflows into recruiting
- Startup or high-growth company recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting in the Seattle tech market
