Nutanix is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer to join its global Technical Support team in Sydney. This hybrid role (2 days/week in office at Kent Street) focuses on ensuring exceptional customer support and product reliability for Nutanix's hyperconverged infrastructure and hybrid-cloud solutions.
You will troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose complex customer issues in production environments, working across virtualization, networking, and storage domains. Key responsibilities include improving product serviceability by testing new features and developing tools to scale field deployment and auto-support infrastructure. You'll analyze the customer base to identify and mitigate field risks, and collaborate closely with the product engineering team to define improvements based on customer feedback and real-world implementations.
The role requires working with technology partners such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft to resolve ecosystem issues and drive improvements. You'll contribute to internal and external knowledge bases, provide weekday support, and participate in scheduled rotational on-call coverage for off-hours support as needed.
You'll report to the Worldwide Support Manager and be part of a diverse, multicultural team of top-notch engineers dedicated to customer success. The team operates with a focus on continuous learning, aiming to develop deep expertise in virtualization, networking, and storage technologies. Nutanix maintains a 90/100 NPS score, reflecting the team's commitment to unparalleled customer satisfaction.
