Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to drive new business and expand existing accounts by showcasing the value of Veeam's data resilience and security portfolio to end customers, cloud providers, and hosting providers.
You will partner closely with the sales team to conduct technical discovery, deliver compelling remote and on-site product demonstrations, run Proof of Concepts, and provide hands-on pre-sales support throughout the customer evaluation cycle. Key responsibilities include collaborating with sales to secure and expand business with new and existing customers; conducting web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam's product portfolio; offering pre-sales support and on-site assistance during software evaluation; building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and strategic partners; contributing to marketing events; conducting POCs; preparing Bills of Materials and RFP/RFQ responses; demonstrating new technologies and providing training; independently identifying and qualifying business opportunities; providing technical compliance and competitive analysis; and coordinating presales efforts with Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services teams.
You bring a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in another technical position, with hands-on experience in hypervisors and cloud environments (VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat, Microsoft virtualization). You are fluent in English and Polish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can engage in business conversations with C-level executives, present to groups both remotely and in-person, and are willing to travel up to 50% across Poland. You have familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS, strong customer engagement and requirements-gathering skills, and a self-starter mindset with the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Bonus skills include VMCE certification, knowledge of Kubernetes, databases (Oracle, SQL, DB2, SAP), and interest in AI and data security posture management.
