Sibros is a software-defined vehicle (SDV) platform company that provides deep connected vehicle management solutions for OEMs. The Deep Connected Platform orchestrates full vehicle software updates, analytics, and remote commands while meeting stringent safety, security, and compliance standards. You will own end-to-end supply chain operations for Sibros hardware, managing the complete lifecycle from supplier qualification through customer delivery and returns. This is a true ownership role with accountability for cost, timing, and compliance of every unit shipped. Key responsibilities include: **Supplier Management & Procurement**: Own supplier relationships from qualification through ongoing commercial management. Ensure all suppliers are onboarded under signed agreements before transacting. Issue approved purchase orders within 24 hours and drive supplier adherence to committed delivery dates. **Demand Planning & Inventory Strategy**: Build and maintain rolling demand forecasts accounting for 6-12 month component lead times. Set and maintain regional buffer stock levels and reorder points. Own inventory position against both committed and forecast customer demand, surfacing working capital exposure to Finance proactively. **Global Trade & Customs Compliance**: Own import/export compliance across the United States, European Union, and India. Maintain entity registrations, EORI and VAT numbers, product classifications, Incoterms, and customs broker relationships. Ensure complete and correct documentation for routine clearance. **Logistics & Carrier Management**: Own carrier and 3PL relationships, contracts, and rates. Manage freight and landed cost per unit as a reported metric. Own shipment escalation end-to-end, shielding Engineering and Technical Program Management from logistics execution. **Returns & Lifecycle Management**: Own returns and warranty processes from customer intake through supplier claim closure. Maintain unit-level traceability via serial number, IMEI, and SIM from receipt through decommissioning. **Systems & Reporting**: Own the inventory system of record and its accuracy. Maintain operating procedures and runbooks. Publish weekly open order reports, monthly inventory reconciliations, and quarterly demand forecasts to audit-ready standards. **New Product Introduction**: Support hardware launches by owning supplier selection, component sourcing strategy, contract manufacturer evaluation, and supply chain readiness from prototype through production. You will work directly with Finance on inventory exposure, Sales and Technical Program Management on customer commitments, Legal on compliance, and Engineering on new product introduction. The role sits at the intersection of customer commitments and supplier capacity, requiring someone who raises problems early, escalates proactively, and closes issues independently. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline - 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, or global logistics - At least 3 years owning a function (not just executing within one) - Demonstrated ownership of demand forecasts against 6+ month component or finished goods lead times, including buffer stock policy and reorder point setting - Hands-on ownership of import/export documentation and customs clearance in at least two of: United States, European Union, India (including direct customs broker management) - Experience negotiating and managing supplier, carrier, and 3PL contracts; managing freight and landed cost as a controlled expense - Ownership of an ERP or inventory management system as system of record - Advanced Excel and Google Sheets capability for reconciliation and reporting - Proven track record of raising risks early, escalating without prompting, and closing issues without follow-up (noted as most important requirement) - Clear and timely communication across US, EU, and India time zones with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field - APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP, or CIPS certification - Experience in hardware-enabled, IoT, automotive, or embedded systems environments with exposure to automotive quality standards (IATF 16949) - Experience taking hardware products from prototype to volume production, including electronics manufacturing services and contract manufacturer selection - Established customs broker and freight forwarder relationships in India; familiarity with India-EU and India-US shipping lanes - Experience with NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar ERP/inventory tools; Jira as operational workflow system - Exposure to returns, reverse logistics, refurbishment, and end-of-life device disposition
