Adyen is seeking a Supply Chain Data Engineer & Integration Specialist to join its Amsterdam office. This role sits at the center of Adyen's operational systems landscape, owning the technical architecture and data pipelines connecting the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform Pigment with enterprise systems (Workday, Salesforce, Big Data Platform, Looker) and global third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse networks.
Key responsibilities include architecting and maintaining production-grade data pipelines that feed planning platforms with clean operational data; industrializing proof-of-concept integrations into scalable, secure enterprise solutions; establishing seamless connections between Pigment and key enterprise systems; building direct integrations with external warehouse management systems and logistics partners (e.g., DHL APIs) for real-time inventory tracking; enforcing Master Data Management (MDM) at source systems; and serving as the technical integration lead for global warehouse expansions.
You will have 4+ years of experience in data engineering, backend integration development, or systems integration. You are proficient in database structures, SQL, and data pipeline programming languages (Python, Apache Airflow, PySpark). You have deep experience building API integrations (REST, SOAP), handling data transformation formats (JSON, XML, CSV), and managing enterprise connectors. You bring an architectural mindset, engineering for pipeline resilience with automated alerting, transaction retries, error-logging, and comprehensive testing. You have a data governance and architectural perspective, are a self-starter who identifies inefficiencies and takes technical ownership, can communicate complex data architectures to business stakeholders, and are familiar with AI models and embed AI usage in daily work.
