Fluidstack is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure for AI, acquiring power, designing and operating data centers at massive scale. The Supply Chain team is critical to the company's mission of deploying frontier compute infrastructure faster than anyone else.
As a Supply Chain Buyer, you will execute purchasing across assigned equipment categories, managing a heavy PO load with same-day execution, confirmation chasing, and on-schedule delivery. You own the order book end-to-end—maintaining current statuses, escalating exceptions, and ensuring no silent slips occur. You'll work vendor issues to ground, addressing shortages, substitutions, and expedites while quantifying schedule impact. You'll also maintain clean data in the ERP system so planning and finance teams operate on accurate information.
The role requires someone with proven experience as a buyer in fast-moving supply chains who can carry a heavy PO load without drops. You need to chase confirmations with urgency, having successfully expedited critical parts through constrained suppliers. Strong ERP hygiene is essential—maintaining accurate dates, prices, and quantities. You should escalate issues with facts assembled and recommendations attached.
Bonus qualifications include experience with NetSuite or Zip, background in data center, construction, or electronics procurement categories, knowledge of freight basics, and fluency in Excel and SQL.
