Veho is a Series B logistics and ecommerce fulfillment company building modern, end-to-end supply chain infrastructure for brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy's, and Sephora. As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you will lead a warehouse team at our Philadelphia facility, managing day-to-day operations and developing warehouse associates and leads.
You will be a hands-on leader responsible for team development, coaching staff on warehouse skills, and fostering their growth. You'll set operational excellence standards through values-based leadership, ensuring your team meets key KPIs and metrics. Your responsibilities include managing shift scheduling aligned with business needs, maintaining accuracy of operational reports, coordinating cross-functional communication, and ensuring packages are sorted and launched efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
The role demands quick thinking and physical agility in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll assess operational needs swiftly, work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, and prioritize safety. You must thrive in an ever-changing environment to meet on-time delivery commitments and exceed expectations of customers, clients, drivers, and employees.
You'll be expected to work Wednesday through Saturday, 6pm–6am, with schedules subject to change based on operational needs. Warehouse leadership is primarily onsite during scheduled shifts, though occasional off-site work may be possible at manager discretion. The role involves standing for full shifts, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and working in varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse conditions.
Minimum qualifications include 1+ year of management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field. You must be proficient in logistics technology platforms, demonstrate strong problem-solving and attention to detail, and be willing to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends. A comprehensive background check is required.
