Salary: EUR/PLN 2,700 - 14,900 / monthly
Revolut is seeking a Subject Matter Expert for its Complex Investigations Unit within Financial Crime Operations. This role is critical to Revolut's mission of keeping customers and their money safe while maintaining trust and regulatory compliance across its global fintech platform.
You will conduct in-depth investigations into complex financial crime typologies, including money laundering schemes, fraud, human trafficking, terrorism financing, and sanctions evasion. Your responsibilities include reviewing and investigating suspicious activity reports (SARs/STRs), serving as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on ongoing investigations, and ensuring Revolut meets all business, legal, and regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed investigations into complex money laundering, fraud, and other financial crime typologies
- Review, investigate, and report suspicious activity cases (SARs/STRs)
- Act as a liaison between the investigations team and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with written policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Collaborate with other compliance teams to improve processes and provide front-line support
- Identify and critically analyze links and patterns in investigated cases
- Work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in complex financial investigations (money laundering, fraud, human trafficking, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or similar)
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and writing skills
- Deep understanding of complex fraud and money laundering typologies, red flags, and identification across multiple products
- Experience reviewing and submitting suspicious activity reports
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple compliance teams
- Willingness to work different shifts
This is a remote position available in Lithuania, Poland, and Portugal, with compensation varying by location.
