As Head of Legal Engineering for Mexico, you will establish and lead the Legal Engineering function from the Mexico City office. This is a Director-level role combining legal practice expertise, product fluency, enterprise change management, and client leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building the Legal Engineering team from the ground up, including hiring exceptional Legal Engineers and developing a manager layer of Team Leads with clear decision rights and succession paths.
- Setting the craft bar, operating rhythm, quality standards, and capacity model for the function.
- Partnering closely with Go-to-Market and Engagement teams on priority accounts, pilots, rollouts, and escalations.
- Acting as lead legal architect on selected enterprise engagements, translating legal problems into Legora workflows and turning successful delivery into reusable playbooks.
- Overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with clear governance, owners, outcomes, and risk management.
- Building trusted relationships with Managing Partners, General Counsels, Heads of Innovation, and senior legal stakeholders.
- Representing the market's voice inside Legora, translating client patterns and product gaps into actionable input for Product teams.
- Developing thought leadership on AI and legal work in Mexico through client forums, events, and writing.
- Ensuring clean handoffs across teams so commercial momentum, delivery quality, and adoption reinforce one another.
You will stay close enough to product and client work to coach credibly while dedicating increasing time to hiring, leadership development, senior relationships, market strategy, and cross-functional execution. You have autonomy to shape how Legal Engineering lands in this strategically important market while maintaining connection to Legora's global standards.
