Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity, is seeking a Legal Counsel / Paralegal to join its Legal team in Vietnam. This role provides day-to-day legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters for a fast-growing Web3 company with global operations.
You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel and support the broader Legal team on a range of initiatives. Key responsibilities include providing legal support on corporate governance matters such as entity registrations, corporate filings, board documentation, resolutions, and maintenance of corporate records. You will assist with the review, preparation, coordination, execution, and maintenance of commercial agreements and other legal documents under the supervision of the Legal team.
Additionally, you will support financing transactions, corporate transactions, and due diligence exercises by preparing and reviewing document checklists, coordinating information requests, and organizing transaction materials. You will also coordinate with external counsel on legal matters, including tracking requests, deliverables, timelines, and legal fees.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, with a qualified lawyer preferred for the Legal Counsel track. You should have 3–4 years of relevant experience in an in-house legal department, law firm, or similar legal environment. A solid understanding of corporate, commercial, and general legal matters is essential, along with strong organizational skills to manage multiple matters, documents, and deadlines simultaneously. You must reside in Vietnam and be able to periodically travel to the company's global offices.
