LeoLabs is building the living map of activity in space through a proprietary global radar network and AI-enabled analytics platform. The company collects millions of measurements daily on over 25,000 objects in low Earth orbit, providing space domain awareness and satellite operations intelligence to commercial and government partners.
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will lead complex sourcing and subcontracting activities supporting U.S. Government-funded and contract-driven programs on the Radar Supply Chain Management team. This role owns the full procurement lifecycle—from intake and competitive sourcing through negotiation, award, administration, and closeout—translating program and contractual requirements into supplier actions.
Key responsibilities include owning strategic sourcing activities for assigned suppliers and programs; leading RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, source-selection recommendations, and cost/price analysis; preparing and administering purchase orders, subcontracts, and amendments in compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements; coordinating supplier reviews of flow-downs including ITAR/export controls, CUI, and cybersecurity requirements; maintaining audit-ready procurement documentation; managing supplier performance across cost, schedule, and deliverables; supporting proposal and program planning with supplier quotations and risk inputs; and continuously improving sourcing processes and templates.
The role requires 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, subcontracts, or procurement supporting technically complex or government-contract programs, with working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, source selection, pricing, and supplier documentation. Candidates should have demonstrated experience leading RFQ/RFP processes, evaluating proposals, performing price analysis, and negotiating commercial terms. Experience preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts through the full lifecycle is essential, as is the ability to maintain complete, audit-ready procurement files. Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Security is critical. Proficiency with ERP, procurement, or contract-management systems and Excel is required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance is mandatory.
