Salary: CAD 55,000 - 70,000 / annual

FlixBus is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Associate to support market expansion across Canada by securing access to critical transportation infrastructure and managing relationships with key stakeholders in a regulated environment. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and negotiating bus stop access agreements with both government agencies and private sector partners. You'll work to secure high-impact locations for bus stops and stations by leveraging relationships with Canadian transit authorities (Metrolinx, OC Transpo, Calgary Transit) and private property owners. A key part of your work involves navigating complex government processes at federal, provincial, and municipal levels while ensuring regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include: - Securing bus stop and station access through government and private-sector negotiations - Identifying and negotiating partnerships with transit agencies and property owners - Aligning commercial objectives with government policies and mitigating regulatory risks - Serving as the primary contact for station-related and government relations matters - Advocating for the company in infrastructure planning forums - Coordinating with internal teams to standardize documentation and improve operational efficiencies You should have at least 1+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or real estate development, with demonstrated work on Canadian government relationships at multiple levels. Project management experience and knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations are essential. Strong communication skills, ability to initiate new business relationships, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite are required. French language skills are a plus but not required.
