Adyen is seeking a Strategic Incentive Manager to design and oversee compensation programs—bonuses, commissions, and incentive plans—that align employee behavior with company goals. This role sits within the GTM Ops and RevOps teams, partnering closely with the rewards team, finance, and commercial leadership.
Key responsibilities include architecting incentive plans for Sales, SDR, Account Management, and Partnerships roles; analyzing performance trends and plan effectiveness to provide data-driven insights; serving as the primary strategic partner to commercial leadership on incentive strategy; defining system requirements for incentive tools; handling escalations and complex commission exceptions; and collaborating cross-functionally on competitive compensation benchmarking.
The role requires 5+ years of experience in incentive strategy or compensation design, with strong analytical capabilities to translate complex data into strategic recommendations. You'll need excellent project management and leadership skills to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously, combined with exceptional communication abilities to influence senior leadership. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and sound judgment are essential for solving complex compensation problems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels are required.
