Adyen is seeking a Strategic Growth Manager to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Agentic Commerce—a transformative shift in digital payments where AI agents autonomously negotiate, book, and transact on behalf of users. This is a rare opportunity at the intersection of commercial strategy, account management, and product innovation. You will own the playbook for how the world's largest enterprises accept payments from AI agents. Key responsibilities include: (1) Taking the Agentic Commerce offering from pilot to scale by identifying first-mover merchants and structuring the commercial approach; (2) Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders at major merchants, helping them navigate infrastructure risks (fraud, identity) and architect data feeds for the agentic economy; (3) Serving as the commercial bridge between merchants and major AI platforms (OpenAI, Google, etc.), ensuring Adyen remains the neutral connector; (4) Translating market learnings into a GTM engine, training the wider sales and account management teams on tokens, LLMs, and agentic protocols; (5) Championing merchant-first principles to ensure protocols prioritize merchant control, data privacy, and liability protection; (6) Operating at the epicenter of the AI boom, securing and managing high-velocity pilots with US-based AI platforms in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York; (7) Enabling the largest US enterprise merchants (Retail, Mobility, Platforms) to launch their first "Instant Checkout" use cases. You are a strategic builder comfortable with ambiguity who can co-create solutions with clients. You have a track record of driving complex enterprise initiatives that deliver real volume. You are technically fluent enough to explain Network Tokens and Virtual Cards to CFOs and debate API schemas with product managers. You understand the payments stack deeply and follow how agentic systems are evolving—including agentic frameworks, agent decision-making, and emerging commerce protocols. You are anti-hype, focusing on solving real operational problems rather than selling science fiction. You thrive in flat, collaborative structures and work seamlessly across Commercial, Product, Legal, and Partnerships teams. Required: 6-8 years in commercial-facing or GTM strategy roles. Payments or fintech experience is a plus. This role is about authoring the playbook for agentic commerce at scale, not executing an established one.
