Nirvana is modernizing commercial insurance through AI-driven technology, serving thousands of fleets with 30+ billion miles of telematics data. The company has raised $270M+ (Series D in Dec 2025) with backing from top-tier VCs including Lightspeed, General Catalyst, and Valor. Leadership includes veterans from Samsara, Rubrik, Flexport, and major insurers. As Strategic Finance Manager, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across two AI-native businesses: a claims TPA and an insurance platform. You'll influence critical decisions on investment, scaling, and capital allocation while helping build an AI-native finance organization. Key responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership on company strategy and growth decisions; leading cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Engineering, Operations, Go-to-Market, Recruiting, and People; designing operating rhythms for planning, forecasting, and performance management; defining long-term financial strategy including fundraising and new business evaluation; and reimagining finance workflows through AI augmentation. You'll work in a high-impact, high-autonomy role in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This is a hands-on position requiring deep engagement with teams on implementation and iteration, not just analysis and reporting. Required: 4-6 years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or business operations at high-growth companies. You need proficiency in complex financial modeling and planning, cross-functional collaboration skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication. You're detail-oriented, execution-focused, and thrive in high-performance settings. The role is hybrid with 3 days/week in the NY office. Compensation includes competitive salary, equity, medical/dental/vision, 401k match, unlimited PTO, and additional benefits.
