As Strategic Finance Manager, you will be a critical member of the Finance team, reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A and working closely with executive leadership and the CFO. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the CEO, COO, and CFO through monthly reporting and strategic analysis.
Key responsibilities include: leading the annual budget cycle and maintaining financial models to support monthly reviews; providing strategic analyses and updates to drive Board and investor discussions; collaborating with the CFO on capital markets relationships including warehouse debt and venture debt; working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Business Operations to analyze new product launches, unit economics, and strategic partnerships; designing dashboards and reporting tools for critical financial and operational metrics; and developing deep product and business model knowledge to inform financial recommendations.
You will produce clear financial presentations and forecasts for leadership, support ad hoc analyses and strategic projects, and help shape the future of the Strategic Finance function. The role requires strong business judgment, exceptional financial modeling skills, and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, STEM, or related field; 4-6 years of investment banking and/or corporate finance experience; high Excel proficiency with strong financial modeling capabilities; comfort interacting with senior executives; proven ability to communicate complex insights clearly; strong organizational and analytical skills; and experience with financial systems and analytics tools (NetSuite ERP and Aleph data platform preferred).
The role is based in San Francisco with office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
