Scribe is a specialized intelligence platform used by 94% of the Fortune 500 to capture and operationalize how teams work. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 7 million users across 600,000 businesses, is valued at over $1 billion, and is backed by leading investors.
This Strategic Finance Associate role is embedded within Scribe's Revenue organization, which has more than doubled in the past 6 months. Finance at Scribe is positioned as a decision-making function, not back-office support. You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support leadership to translate data into strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze critical business questions using data to influence strategic decisions and build high-quality financial models
- Define, track, and report on GTM KPIs; build dashboards and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Own sales performance reviews, leading analysis and presenting performance narratives that drive execution and accountability
- Manage company performance against financial targets through budget vs. actuals reviews and partnership with leaders
- Analyze deal patterns and close rate trends to identify resource acceleration opportunities and surface gaps proactively
- Support GTM planning cycles including ARR forecasting, headcount and capacity analysis, territory and quota modeling
- Develop and maintain GTM reporting infrastructure using Sigma and Snowflake; leverage AI to automate data pulls, draft commentary, and flag anomalies
The role requires sharp business instincts, financial acumen, and an ownership mindset. You will work in a team still being built rather than following an existing playbook, and you should be comfortable with ambiguity and self-directed investigation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
- Demonstrated ability to build models that withstand scrutiny and catch errors independently
- Working knowledge of GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition; fluency in connecting numbers to business outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to tell a compelling data story that builds leadership trust
- Proactive problem-solving: when data looks off, you investigate without being prompted
- Genuine excitement about AI tooling and active integration into workflows (particularly Claude)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Hands-on experience with Sigma and/or Snowflake
- Fluency using AI tools, particularly Claude, for modeling and reporting
- Background at a high-growth SaaS company at a similar stage to Scribe
