Flock is a telematics and AI-powered fleet safety company that helps businesses prevent road accidents through real-time data and proactive interventions. Recently acquired by Admiral (May 2026), Flock combines startup agility with the backing of the UK's leading motor insurer.
You will become the primary point of contact for Flock's largest fleet clients, owning their end-to-end relationship and ensuring they receive exceptional service. Your portfolio will include multi-national operations, well-known brands, and growing sector leaders. You'll sit at the intersection of client, broker, and Flock teams, working closely with Broker Development Managers to deliver a coordinated experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning relationships with a portfolio of large fleet clients and becoming their primary contact
- Building and running Flock's corporate account management approach, including client reviews, reporting, relationship cadence, and account planning
- Coordinating closely with brokers and internal Broker Development Managers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Bringing together cross-functional teams (claims, safety, underwriting, finance) to resolve client issues quickly and build stakeholder relationships
- Identifying retention risks early and creating protection plans for key accounts
- Shaping Flock's wider client service proposition by gathering and feeding back client feedback
- Leveraging AI daily for account research, meeting preparation, query management, and reporting
You'll report to the Head of Distribution and have the opportunity to build the corporate client management approach from the ground up, with real ownership over outcomes. Success is measured by client retention, increased value realization, and referrals.
Work arrangement: Hybrid, typically three days per week in the Central London office (near Moorgate and Liverpool Street), with flexibility for longer commutes. Client site visits, conferences, and broker office visits count toward office days.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong insurance industry experience with clear understanding of the broker–client–insurer dynamic
- Proven experience in a client-facing role such as insurer account/deal management, broker account management, claims relationship management, or similar
- Track record of managing important client relationships with strong retention or customer satisfaction results
- Ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders across clients, brokers, and internal teams
- Strong commercial judgement to identify at-risk accounts and build retention plans
- Energy and ownership; comfortable identifying problems, finding the right people, and driving solutions
- Confident using technology daily; curious about how it can improve work efficiency and client experience
- Preferred: experience with large, complex, or multi-site corporate clients; Commercial Motor Fleet or fleet risk/safety experience; exposure to claims processes or building account management/client service propositions
