Salary: USD 79,000 - 89,000 / annual
Xero is seeking an Associate Solutions Consultant to support its Partner Sales channel, helping accounting and bookkeeping practices adopt digital strategy and maximize the Xero ecosystem.
In this role, you will guide partner firms through client onboarding, data migration, and software implementation. You'll deliver tailored group webinars and one-on-one training sessions to empower accountants and bookkeepers to streamline workflows and activate subscriptions. You'll work closely with the post-sales partner consulting team, Global Migration Team, and local account managers to ensure smooth implementation and strong partner relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding partners through data conversions and file preparation using migration tools (GMT, Jet Convert, Advance Track)
- Delivering interactive 1:1 and group training sessions covering Xero, Xero Payroll, Melio, Syft, and Hubdoc
- Managing external stakeholder expectations and scheduling virtual and on-site onboarding sessions
- Maintaining accurate practice contact details and communication logs in Salesforce CRM
- Creating self-serve guidance resources for partner queries
The role involves flexible working with a significant field presence: expect to travel to up to two cities per week for on-site partner visits, accounting for 50–75% of your time, with virtual options available when working remotely or from a local office hub.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, practice workflows, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
- Clear communication and presentation abilities with talent for engaging software demonstrations and training
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms and genuine enthusiasm for SaaS software
- Strong initiative, excellent attention to detail, and confidence to operate independently when managing client files
- Proven capability to build rapid, meaningful rapport with internal teammates and external practice partners
