InPost, Europe's leading e-commerce logistics solutions provider, is seeking a Strategic Buyer to lead procurement initiatives for IT & Technology categories across the organization's international operations.
In this role, you will own strategic sourcing and procurement projects for assigned IT & Technology categories, managing the full lifecycle from RFI/RFQ/RFP processes through contract execution. You will conduct comprehensive market sourcing, analyze suppliers and emerging solutions, and negotiate commercial terms to support business objectives and cost efficiency. You will qualify, evaluate, and develop suppliers while building long-term strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading strategic procurement projects for IT & Technology categories in local, group, and international environments
- Conducting market analysis, identifying optimization opportunities, and monitoring trends
- Managing procurement projects to KPI, budget, and timeline targets
- Collaborating with internal business stakeholders and cross-functional international teams
- Maintaining full procurement and tender documentation
- Developing and implementing category-level procurement strategies
InPost operates across 9 countries (UK, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands) with nearly 94,900 out-of-home delivery points and serves approximately 100,000 e-commerce sellers. The company processed 1.4 billion shipments in 2025 with 25% year-over-year growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of strategic procurement experience, preferably in IT category management
- Demonstrated ability to conduct commercial negotiations
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in international environments
- English language proficiency at C1 level or higher
- Self-directed, committed, and results-oriented approach
- Ability to build relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
- Creative problem-solving and positive attitude toward assigned tasks
