Salary: USD 218,592 - 286,902 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to lead the company's inorganic growth strategy. Reporting to the SVP, Deputy CFO, this role is responsible for advancing Oscar's M&A, investment, divestiture, and strategic partnership agenda through thesis-driven market mapping, target sourcing, and rigorous financial analysis. Key responsibilities include: • End-to-end deal execution across M&A, investments, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, including target sourcing, market mapping, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, approval materials, closing, and integration planning. • Developing and managing a thesis-driven sourcing strategy that translates enterprise priorities into market landscapes, target universes, and build/buy/partner recommendations with a prioritized pipeline of opportunities. • Leading sophisticated, long-term, enterprise-wide financial and capital modeling efforts to inform strategic decisions related to growth initiatives and capital allocation. • Partnering with operators to define integration plans, synergy targets, post-close KPIs, and governance structures to ensure transactions deliver against strategic and financial objectives. • Providing comprehensive quantitative and qualitative evaluations of strategic growth initiatives, including new market entries and business lines, in partnership with the Corporate Strategy team. • Collaborating, influencing, and presenting at the executive level, including direct interaction with C-suite and Board members. Work Location: Hybrid, based in New York City office with 3 days per week in-office (Thursdays required for team meetings; two other days flexible). Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field • 12+ years of progressive experience in analytical financial roles with significant leadership responsibilities • 10+ years of demonstrated ability using expert financial modeling skills to translate complex data into actionable insights, robust strategies, and comprehensive financial plans, particularly in corporate development context • 8+ years of significant corporate development experience, including direct involvement in M&A financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation • 7+ years of experience collaborating, influencing, and presenting at the executive level, including direct interaction with C-suite and Board members Bonus qualifications: • Experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or insurance industries (private equity, venture capital, investment banking) • Healthcare industry experience and deep market knowledge • Advanced degrees or professional designations (MBA, CFA)
