Aleph is an AI-native Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) platform solving the fragmentation problem finance teams face: data scattered across systems, endless spreadsheets, and excessive time spent on data alignment rather than strategic decision-making. Founded by Stanford and MIT-trained technical founders with experience at Google, Microsoft, and Bain & Company, Aleph is backed by top-tier VCs including Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, and Y Combinator. The company works with leading customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, and Y Combinator. As Strategic Business Development Lead, you will own the technical sales process for FP&A evaluations, acting as a subject matter expert bridging finance expertise and sales execution. Your core responsibilities include leading product demonstrations and proofs of concept with FP&A leaders and CFOs, showcasing how Aleph's AI-native approach automates spreadsheet-heavy workflows. You'll design and execute fast-paced trials that deliver measurable value within days, not months, working directly with stakeholders to configure solutions and answer complex edge-case questions. You will engage senior finance leaders on AI adoption and business outcomes, speaking credibly about where AI fits within finance operations. This requires translating technical product capabilities into business value propositions and positioning Aleph as a strategic partner. You'll close the loop between buyer needs and product direction by collaborating with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to refine positioning and roadmap, bringing real-world customer insights that inform both sales strategy and product development. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in finance, PE, FP&A, or consulting with strong spreadsheet modeling skills and the ability to translate fluently between finance and product language. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast independently, and are genuinely curious about AI applications in finance. Startup experience, SQL/BI tool proficiency, and prior sales engineering experience are valued but not required. This is a remote-first role focused on candidates across the Americas to align with team working hours.
