Pie Insurance is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive acquisition and manage the overall partner experience for profitable growth with strategic partnerships, including high-volume wholesale and complex partnership structures. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new partnerships while managing and strengthening existing relationships, with a focus on strategic planning to maximize mutual growth.
Key responsibilities include:
**Build and Engage with Outside Agency Partnerships:** Develop a comprehensive understanding of partner locations, organizational hierarchies, competitive markets, agency premiums, policies, commission agreements, and key stakeholders. Create multi-tier relationship plans to identify profile gaps and understand agency workflows and decision-makers.
**Manage Strategic Partner Relationships:** Develop and maintain understanding of agency organizational structures. Facilitate consistent meetings with executive teams, leadership, producers, and customer service representatives. Attend key agency meetings and producer conferences. Conduct field and virtual agency meetings. Manage portfolio tracking, reporting, and performance metrics while collaborating cross-functionally on best practices and process improvements.
**Develop Strategic Programs:** Identify unique opportunities to drive increased agency production. Collaborate internally to validate profitability of strategic initiatives. Establish process and workflow modifications and monitor results.
**Track, Report, and Execute:** Monitor industry insights, trends, and customer preferences to inform sales efforts. Report progress on initiatives supporting departmental and company OKRs. Develop and implement strategic plans for profitable premium growth and retention. Assist in forecasting distribution channel premium on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
Required qualifications: 5+ years sales or account management experience, high school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree, 3+ years insurance experience (2+ in commercial insurance), experience with payroll distribution, advanced problem-solving and communication skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments.
