Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize and act on their most critical data. The company serves global financial institutions, hedge funds, asset managers, and energy firms with solutions spanning communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management.
As a Strategic Account Manager 3, you will own the full commercial relationship with a portfolio of complex, highly regulated financial institutions. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant autonomy over account strategy, renewals, escalations, and executive relationships. You will operate across accounts in Italy and Germany, requiring fluency in German.
Key responsibilities include:
• Account Health & Risk Management: Independently assess account health across commercial, operational, and relationship dimensions. Surface risk early by reading ticket patterns, stakeholder signals, and adoption data. Build intervention plans without manager direction.
• Executive Engagement: Design and execute quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) for all accounts. Lead strategic conversations about compliance posture, regulatory risk, control maturity, and platform value—not product update calls.
• Renewal & Churn Management: Own the full renewal cycle across your portfolio. Build retention strategy, lead negotiations, and close deals. Accurately forecast ARR churn risk and develop mitigation plans using account health data, stakeholder intelligence, and delivery performance indicators.
• Expansion & Commercial Execution: Drive inbound expansion deals independently. Collaborate with Account Executives on strategic accounts using a Unit of One model. Lead with value-based positioning grounded in customer intelligence, not discount-first tactics.
• Delivery Accountability: Own the client-facing narrative when delivery issues arise. Ensure commitments are tracked and fulfilled. Translate technical or operational updates into actionable language. Hold internal teams accountable through to confirmed resolution.
• Escalation Management: Triage, escalate, and resolve issues end-to-end for your full portfolio. Manage complex, multi-workstream escalations with minimal manager involvement. Build relationships with Product, Engineering, and Support to accelerate resolution.
You will work in a hybrid capacity from the Milan office. The role requires the ability to think strategically and execute operationally, often in the same day.
