Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize data into actionable intelligence for risk management, compliance, and business growth. The company serves highly regulated financial institutions including banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and energy firms.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own the full commercial relationship with a portfolio of complex, highly regulated financial institutions. Your responsibilities span the entire customer lifecycle: delivery outcomes, commercial performance, executive relationships, and long-term strategic growth.
Your clients are building or strengthening unified controls frameworks that integrate communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management. - Account health monitoring: independently assess risk across commercial, operational, and relationship dimensions; surface risk early through ticket patterns, stakeholder signals, and adoption data; build intervention plans without manager direction
- Executive business reviews: design and execute QBRs and EBRs that are genuinely strategic conversations about compliance posture, regulatory risk, control maturity, and platform value
- Renewal ownership: own all renewals across your portfolio; build retention strategy, lead negotiations, close deals; accurately forecast ARR churn risk and develop mitigation plans
- Expansion: drive inbound expansion deals independently; collaborate with Account Executives on strategic accounts; lead with value-based positioning grounded in customer intelligence
- Delivery accountability: own client-facing narrative when delivery issues arise; translate technical updates into actionable language; hold internal teams accountable through confirmed resolution
This role requires the ability to think strategically and execute operationally, often in the same day. You will operate with high autonomy on account strategy, renewals, escalations, and executive relationships across a portfolio of global accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep working knowledge of enterprise compliance technology and unified controls frameworks (communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, policy management)
- Understanding of financial services regulatory environment and obligations driving demand across banking, hedge funds, asset management, and energy sectors
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures at regulated financial institutions (Heads of Surveillance, compliance analysts, technology teams, operations teams); manage both executive-level and working-level relationships simultaneously
- Commercial lifecycle management expertise for enterprise SaaS: full renewal and expansion cycle ownership, retention strategy, churn forecasting, negotiation, close, and pipeline development
- Escalation management and operational accountability: ticket triage, escalation, and resolution end-to-end; ability to manage complex multi-workstream escalations with minimal manager involvement; ability to build relationships with Product, Engineering, and Support teams
