This role owns Attio's position in the Bay Area startup ecosystem entirely. You will drive adoption among the best early-stage companies through strategic programs, partnerships, events, and content. Operating with founder-level scope and autonomy, you'll work across product, sales, and marketing to remove friction and position Attio as the default CRM for top startups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning startup dominance goals with relentless focus on Y Combinator and top accelerator cohorts, Series A penetration, and logos across leading VC portfolios
- Building deep relationships with influential VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem players as genuine partners in supporting their portfolios
- Conceiving and executing high-impact events (demo days, summits, dinners, hackathons) that position Attio at the center of the founder world
- Becoming personally known and trusted by founders of breakout companies, serving as their go-to for advice, introductions, and tools
- Cross-functional execution across product, sales, and marketing to identify gaps and ship new motions, integrations, and custom work for the startup market
- Shaping the narrative and producing content that resonates with how founders actually build, making Attio the obvious CRM choice

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience as a founder, VC, or early operator at a high-growth startup; you've been in the room when important decisions get made
- Genuine, existing network across the startup ecosystem; you know founders, investors, and connectors
- Instincts and credibility to earn trust with early-stage founders quickly; seniority to drive internal decisions at pace
- Track record of building and shipping complex programs or initiatives that moved the needle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling narratives for founder audiences
- Builder's mindset; comfortable with ambiguity, operate with urgency, take full ownership of outcomes
- Eye for quality across startup programs, founder dinners, content; know what great looks like and hold yourself to it
