Robinhood is seeking a Staff User Researcher to lead research across multiple Brokerage product areas. In this role, you will partner with product, design, engineering, and business leaders to identify critical questions, bring clarity to ambiguous problems, and ensure customer evidence informs both near-term decisions and longer-term strategy.
You will proactively identify high-impact research questions from product and business perspectives, then answer them using a strong command of both qualitative and quantitative methods. You'll plan and lead research end-to-end, including strategic, foundational, iterative, and evaluative studies. A key responsibility is representing the voice of the customer throughout product development, working closely with PMs, designers, engineers, data scientists, and leadership.
Your research will translate into clear recommendations that influence product strategy, prioritization, and execution. You'll communicate insights through compelling storytelling for both research and non-research audiences, and connect findings across the Brokerage business to build a broader, data-driven understanding of current and potential customers. You should be comfortable incorporating AI-enabled tools to increase the speed, reach, and impact of research while maintaining research quality and appropriate governance.
Mentoring others and contributing to the development of research standards, methods, and practices is also expected at this level.
The role is based in Bellevue, WA; Menlo Park, CA; or New York, NY, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Robinhood emphasizes the value of in-person work for accelerating progress, sparking innovation, and strengthening community.
