Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Staff Technical Program & Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and delivery of advanced AR/VR optical systems for military applications. Based in Taipei, Taiwan, you will manage Anduril's strategic supplier engagements and serve as a critical liaison between engineering teams, suppliers, and leadership. Key responsibilities include leading supplier partnerships and managing complex program schedules and deliverables. You will oversee build events across supplier sites, including configuration management, BOM reviews, and daily build reporting. Your technical expertise in optics and optical manufacturing will guide design convergence and support engineering teams in resolving technical challenges while ensuring compliance with ITAR and other government regulations. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across distributed teams, identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and production risks proactively, and maintain major issues lists to ensure program maturity. Stakeholder management is central to the role—you'll prepare program updates, technical briefs, and performance reports for internal and external audiences, while managing relationships with key supplier partners to ensure alignment with contractual obligations. The position requires implementing process improvements within a startup environment while adapting to the unique demands of the defense sector. This is a leadership role for someone comfortable taking ownership across disciplines and ensuring critical optical systems deliver on schedule and to specification. Required: BS in Optics, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. 8+ years of technical program management and manufacturing process development delivering hardware products, or equivalent engineering experience with demonstrated program leadership. Proven experience taking modules or systems from concept through qualification into mass production. Direct experience leading contract manufacturers and component suppliers with on-site build support. Technical fluency in optics and optical manufacturing required.
