OpenLoop is seeking a Senior Director of Procurement to lead company-wide sourcing, vendor management, and spend optimization efforts. This is a remote role reporting to senior leadership at a high-growth telehealth platform.
You will build and scale a centralized procurement function that supports rapid growth while driving transparency, cost savings, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and standardizing centralized procurement policies and processes that promote operational efficiency, spend visibility, and controls.
- Implementing and optimizing procurement software tools, ensuring configuration aligns with business needs and delivers actionable reporting for leadership and department heads.
- Leading annual budget planning in coordination with FP&A to align procurement strategy with financial goals.
- Establishing collaborative frameworks with department heads to empower visibility and control of department-specific spend, vendor relationships, and budgeting.
- Working closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all procurement activities, vendor contracts, and policies meet regulatory and legal standards.
- Partnering with Legal to review and negotiate vendor contracts, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation language and service level agreements.
You bring 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, including leadership roles in high-growth and/or multi-location environments. You have proven success designing and scaling centralized procurement operations in both startup/scale-up and publicly traded company contexts. Strong knowledge of procurement software and spend management systems is required; implementation experience is a plus.
Healthcare, pharmacy, or digital health experience is highly valued. You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach, skilled in vendor negotiations, contract review, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills are essential.
