Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for its Intelligence Systems (AIS) division, which focuses on delivering specialized engineering and products to Intelligence Community customers. This is a high-impact role bridging complex hardware and software development with mission execution.
You will lead the development and integration of Anduril products with government and industry partners, managing diverse projects that require flexibility and strong organizational skills. Your responsibilities span multiple dimensions:
**Cross-Functional Execution:** Orchestrate end-to-end development from architecture through Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and fielding. Coordinate across structural, electrical, GNC, autonomy, and payload teams. Act as connective tissue between domain experts, uncovering and resolving interface mismatches and integration gaps before they become blockers. Bridge disparate engineering cycles—aligning rapid software sprints with long-lead mechanical fabrication and PCB spins.
**Risk Mitigation & Problem Solving:** Proactively identify technical, supply chain, and schedule bottlenecks. Roll up your sleeves to help engineering teams unblock issues and make technical trade-offs. Convert abstract risks into concrete burn-down plans with explicit ownership, timelines, and measurable exit criteria. Anticipate single points of failure and build proactive fallback options. Apply first-principles thinking to break technical impasses, balancing speed-to-fleet, unit cost, and reliability against mission requirements.
**Deliverables Ownership:** Drive the contract deliverables process during implementation and ongoing operations. Work with internal stakeholders and data management resources to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant government deliverables. Develop Forward-Looking Metrics and Trend Analysis for informative reporting. Define, plan, and conduct product and subsystem reviews, change boards, and audits.
**Master Schedule Ownership:** Maintain schedule coherence across multiple teams and networks. Develop and implement an effective scheduling management system. Create and coordinate an integrated master schedule (IMS) with internal departments and external stakeholders. Monitor timelines, identify delays, facilitate timely intervention, and prepare progress reports. Recommend actions to keep projects within budget and on schedule.
Success requires both a systems and engineering mindset—understanding technical concepts, identifying dependencies, interfaces, and risks—and an execution mindset focused on details and outcomes. You will interact daily with the Chief Engineer and work alongside engineering teams to meet administrative, technical, and operational requirements.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in technical project management or related project management in a relevant industry
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
- Familiarity with government acquisition and reporting processes
- Comfortable with contract financial data (invoicing, staffing burn rates against contract ceilings)
- Ability to create and deliver presentations in technical and programmatic reports to leadership and customers
- Comfortable setting and achieving goals in an amorphous environment
- Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead, and follow
- Comfortable working in limited resource environments
- Currently possesses and able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Experience with government contracts strongly preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Domain expertise in networking or telecommunications
- Prior experience developing end-device networking hardware
- Background in communication systems design, integration, or deployment
