Lighthouse is a Series C-funded AI platform ($370M raised, $100M+ ARR) transforming commercial strategy for the hospitality industry. The company processes hundreds of terabytes of daily data from thousands of integrated hotel systems, serving 85,000+ users across 185 countries, including all top 15 global hotel chains.
As Staff Technical Data Architect for Integrations, you will own the technical architecture of Lighthouse's integration domains—the end-to-end data systems that unify global hospitality data into a canonical data model. This is a high-impact individual contributor role spanning multiple engineering teams and domains.
Key responsibilities:
- Own technical architecture of data systems and pipelines ingesting and transforming massive volumes of hospitality data (millions of reservations, tens of millions of prices and transactions daily from hundreds of systems)
- Gather requirements to realize product and technical vision; map current architecture and design future state to meet evolving needs
- Build, test, maintain, support, and evolve data architecture across current and greenfield systems
- Regularly dive deep into code, operational tooling, cloud resources, logs, monitoring, and data quality to stay grounded in engineering reality
- Proactively improve architecture and systems design; establish standards and best practices in data engineering at scale
- Serve as trusted technical authority for data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Collaborate with architects and leaders across engineering and product teams to improve organizational architecture maturity
- Embed AI strategy into Integrations architecture; identify, prioritize, and pilot AI initiatives across pipelines, tooling, and engineering workflows
You bring deep hands-on experience in data engineering (ETL/ELT, complex data pipelines, data transformations, data modeling) at scale. You have proven experience as a data architect at systems level, ideally across multiple teams, domains, or projects. You combine strong technical expertise with business acumen, product affinity, and drive for excellence.
