Zscaler is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join the Identity services team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. This role bridges software design engineering and test engineering, focusing on designing, developing, and deploying wide-reaching tools and frameworks that automatically verify product quality at scale.
You will serve as a solutions test engineer for Identity services, designing and developing automation tools and testing infrastructure. Your responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code to automatically verify product quality and performance, and building the path forward in a dynamic, ambiguous environment where you operate with ownership and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within your functional domain
- 5+ years of experience working on systems or distributed systems with a focus on solutions testing and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience in Python or Golang along with experience building automation frameworks
- Knowledge of public cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of virtual environments including Docker, containers, Kubernetes, and OVA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leveraging AI/ML tools or intelligent automation to enhance automated test generation, fault domain isolation, and software quality verification
- Deep understanding of Java and security technologies within the Identity (IAM) domain
- Demonstrated expertise in software development and development automation
