Flexport is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Trucking Technology—the core systems that plan, procure, dispatch, and settle every truck move in North America. This is a high-impact role focused on unifying Flexport's fragmented ground transportation business into a single, owned platform by 2027. You will own the vision and strategy for the unified Trucking Technology stack, spanning planning, procurement, pricing, and carrier experience. Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end trucking unification program with cross-domain change management, driving automation and AI initiatives (automated dispatch, appointment scheduling), and delivering measurable business impact through cost optimization, procurement savings, and carrier performance improvements. The role sits at the intersection of product, operations, and business. You will reengineer and digitize underlying trucking workflows, modernize the carrier experience across load acceptance and payment, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Operations teams to translate complex logistics workflows into intuitive systems. You'll use data-driven frameworks to guide investment and represent your domain in strategic leadership forums. Beyond execution, you will mentor PMs across the team, raising the bar for product specs, prioritization, and communication. This is a role for someone with deep product experience, strong analytical instincts, ideally real trucking or ground transportation domain expertise, and the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a complex, data-rich environment. Required: 8+ years of PM experience with a track record of owning complex product domains and delivering quantifiable business impact. Deep expertise in trucking or ground transportation (FTL/LTL, procurement, dispatch, TMS platforms) is highly desirable. Experience leading large-scale platform consolidations or system unification programs without disrupting live operations is essential. Strong analytical skills with SQL proficiency, ability to ship intuitive UX in data-dense domains, and excellent communication for framing trade-offs to senior leadership are critical.
