Built Technologies is hiring a Staff Product Manager for the Platform team. Built is an AI-powered platform transforming real estate financing, development, and management, serving 350+ lenders, 80,000+ borrowers and owners, and thousands of contractors, with 86,000 active projects valued at $300+ billion. The Platform team owns the foundational infrastructure enabling Built's applications to scale and evolve rapidly. This includes shared components (Approvals, Custom Workflows), core technical services (authentication, authorization, files, comments, notifications), and the external/internal API ecosystem. The team is also responsible for service reliability, scalability, and developer productivity. As Staff PM for Platform, you will own clear OKRs around service adoption, MAU for common components, and service reliability. You'll work backwards from outcomes to roadmap to execution, partnering with a world-class Platform engineering team. Key responsibilities include: - Own definition, execution, and delivery for your product area with high-quality PRDs, backlog grooming, and sprint planning that enable high-velocity engineering. - Collaborate deeply with application teams to understand needs and translate them into a prioritized platform roadmap through strong pattern-matching. - Partner with the Engineering Director for Platform to understand scale, reliability, and developer productivity requirements, sequencing investments thoughtfully. - Conduct deep customer discovery with lenders, portfolio managers, owners, developers, and contractors to identify problems and invent solutions. - Define success metrics and OKRs for the Platform team; ruthlessly prioritize the roadmap based on evidence. - Drive zero-to-one product efforts from customer discovery through design, delivery, and iteration, navigating ambiguity with judgment. - Present roadmaps, delivery plans, and product demos internally and to customers with clarity and conviction. - Partner with GTM teams on go-to-market strategy and ensure strong adoption of launched capabilities. - Provide feedback on engineering designs while championing customer needs and driving implementation excellence. You are a senior individual contributor and player-coach within the product organization. You own critical or complex product areas, drive zero-to-one efforts, and contribute meaningfully to how the PM team operates. You bring substantial experience, strong technical acumen, and the ability to influence peers and leadership through clarity, rigor, and results.
