BloomReach is hiring a Senior Staff Product Architect to own or co-own the architecture of a single AI-led product within their agentic personalization platform. This is a director-level scope role with zero direct reports—designed for experienced engineering leaders who want to shift leverage from people management back into product and technical judgment. You will sit at the intersection of product and engineering, spending 20–30% of your time hands-on coding and prototyping. Your responsibilities include co-defining products with product managers and UX from ideation through shaping, constructively challenging PRDs with formal technical input, leading technical shaping of initiatives, and architecting AI-led product capabilities. You'll decide where AI belongs in the product, how it's grounded in BloomReach's data and internal foundations (such as their knowledge graph), and how it stays reliable, safe, and cost-effective at scale. You'll maintain architectural runway by keeping enabling technical work identified and ready ahead of the roadmap, own key technical tradeoffs and non-functional requirements (scalability, reliability, security, cost), and drive cross-product architectural alignment through the architecture chapter. AI runs through everything you'll build—you'll use AI daily as a tool in design, prototyping, and analysis. BloomReach powers personalization for over 1,400 global brands including American Eagle, Sonepar, and Pandora, across retail, financial services, hospitality, and gaming. The company is building autonomous search, conversational shopping, and autonomous marketing capabilities on a single AI engine called Loomi. You'll work remotely from Czechia or Slovakia, with optional access to offices in Bratislava, Brno, or Prague. This role requires deep product thinking, system-level technical judgment, and comfort operating at the intersection of strategy and execution.
