Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the end-to-end OpenTelemetry experience for Grafana Cloud. You will define the product vision and strategy for helping users and AI agents instrument workloads and send high-quality OpenTelemetry data to Grafana Cloud.
Your mission is to make Grafana Cloud the easiest and most trusted destination for OpenTelemetry workloads. You'll reduce complexity and failure points across the entire instrumentation journey—from SDK onboarding and automatic instrumentation (Beyla, SDK injection) to Collector deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and validation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the product roadmap and strategy for OpenTelemetry onboarding and configuration experiences
- Designing instrumentation workflows that work for both humans and coding agents
- Defining guidance and machine-readable context to help users choose the right instrumentation approach
- Creating troubleshooting and validation workflows for telemetry health and quality
- Partnering with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to ensure seamless integration with Grafana Cloud observability solutions
- Communicating product vision, needs, and technical details to customers and internal stakeholders
You will work with a globally distributed, 100% remote team of 1,600+ across 40+ countries. Grafana Labs is backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and others. The company serves 7,000+ customers including Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
This role requires strong technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills in a fully remote environment.
