Traba is building an AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain, starting with contingent labor in manufacturing and logistics. The company connects workers to warehouses and distribution centers, embedding itself into customer operations through technology and proprietary shift data from millions of deployments.
As Staff Product Manager for Marketplace, you will own and evolve the staffing product at the center of Traba's two-sided marketplace. You'll work across both enterprise customers (distribution centers, manufacturing lines) and workers, collaborating with software engineers, designers, data analysts, and operations teams to design and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities. This role reports directly to the VP of Product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and steward product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows
- Solve complex marketplace problems by balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes
- Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with engineering to execute solutions
- Build systems that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency
- Use data to uncover patterns and answer critical marketplace and customer questions
- Translate operational complexity into scalable product systems
- Scale operations by designing internal tooling and technical solutions
- Launch and iterate products across customers, regions, and operational environments
- Communicate complex ideas from systems and workflows to operational models and strategy
- Socialize work across all levels and departments while synthesizing stakeholder feedback
You are customer-obsessed, spending time on-site with users on both sides of the marketplace. You are AI-native, having changed how you work because of AI—prototyping before specs, checking code into production, building internal agents for research. You have deep marketplace operator experience with real supply-demand dynamics and operational complexity. You've built enterprise B2B products for complex customers with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles. You think from first principles, understanding systems and constraints deeply. You've built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and work seamlessly across product, design, engineering, data, operations, sales, and leadership.
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes
- Strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics
- Experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and complex operational environments
- Experience building internal operational tooling or systems that supported real business execution
- Strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams
- Experience operating in startup environments where speed and ownership matter
- Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
- Strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company
