Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead product strategy and vision for Maritime Digital Production (MDP), the software and digital systems function within the Heavy Metal division. MDP builds the technology stack powering Anduril's shipbuilding factories, including data infrastructure, manufacturing execution systems, scheduling engines, and AI systems that remove manual toil from shop floor operations.
In this role, you will own product vision and strategy across MDP's entire portfolio: the factory data platform, manufacturing execution applications, scheduling and optimization engine, and AI systems. You will be the senior product voice for the function, balancing investment across domains, raising the product bar, and mentoring other product managers on the team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Product Leadership**: Set the product bar for the entire function. Mentor and guide other product managers, establish product practices and standards, and create clarity across domains. Lead through influence and earn trust with engineering, operations, and leadership.
**Product Strategy**: Craft vision, portfolio roadmap, and critical dependencies beyond the current cycle. Engage stakeholders and leadership for input and buy-in. Own the largest tradeoffs and decision points across the portfolio.
**Product Prioritization**: Work backward from strategy to set clear outcomes across domains in partnership with engineering, design, and operations leaders. Build structures for rapid development cycles and keep the portfolio adaptable.
**Problem Discovery**: Become attached to problems, not solutions. Conduct onsite user research on the factory floor, have direct conversations with technicians and operators, and translate real-world context into well-scoped requirements.
**Product Execution**: Fill gaps to make well-scoped solutions a reality. Communicate proactively, approach solutions with humility and creativity, and set a high bar for deployment, adoption, and support.
You will set multi-year strategy, own cross-domain roadmaps, gather functional and non-functional requirements, communicate with senior leadership, and walk the factory floor regularly to understand technician and operator workflows. MDP is scaling from a founding team to 70+ engineers across multiple U.S. sites, and you will join early to shape how manufacturing software is built at Anduril.
