As Staff Product Manager for GTPN (Global Treasury & Payment Network), you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the customer-facing API platform that enables global treasury and payment solutions at scale. This is a high-impact, strategic role shaping the future of global payments infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include: developing and championing the strategic vision and roadmap for the platform; engaging directly with enterprise customers, developers, and partners to understand needs and validate features; translating complex use cases into scalable, secure, and intuitive APIs in collaboration with engineering; leading cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, compliance, and data science; using data-driven methods to define success metrics and prioritize requirements; representing GTPN in strategic conversations with senior stakeholders; mentoring other product managers; and staying ahead of industry trends in payments, APIs, and fintech.
You bring 6+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on platform/API products in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure. You have a proven track record of defining, building, and launching successful, scalable API-powered platforms. You possess deep technical understanding of API design principles, security, and developer experience, and can balance user requirements with commercial strategy. You excel at managing trade-offs between long-term vision and short-term execution, communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and thrive in data-driven, cross-functional teams in fast-paced global environments. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required, along with flexibility to work across multiple time zones and exceptional English and Chinese communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with global card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and developer tools, hands-on developer experience, knowledge of regulatory compliance and KYC/AML, experience in hyper-growth startups or financial infrastructure, and a Master's degree.
