Flexport is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own and drive strategy across the Commerce domain, a critical product area spanning quoting, billing, invoicing, and marketplace expansion. This is a domain-level role, not a single-feature position—you will define the vision for how multiple product surfaces work together to serve logistics managers, supply chain leaders, freight operators, and internal teams managing global freight movement. You will lead product strategy across multiple engineering teams, with responsibility for a 2–3 year roadmap. Key responsibilities include building intelligent AI agents to automate core commerce operations, identifying high-leverage problems, sequencing investment, and making clear trade-off recommendations to leadership. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Operations, and other product teams to align priorities and ship integrated experiences. The role involves collaboration across a global footprint, including regular cross-border syncs with engineering teams in the West Coast US and China. You will use data to set direction—building metrics frameworks that connect product usage to business outcomes and using them to guide investment decisions. You'll break down ambiguous, cross-cutting problems into concrete product plans that multiple teams can execute against, represent your domain in leadership forums, and mentor other PMs on the team to improve how the organization writes specs, prioritizes, communicates trade-offs, and ships. Required qualifications: 8+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ability to own a product domain and lead roadmaps spanning multiple engineering teams. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including SQL proficiency. Track record of shipping products in data-dense, complex domains where user workflows span multiple steps or systems. Proven ability to align multiple cross-functional teams around shared roadmaps when priorities compete. Experience operating at both strategy and execution levels. Excellent written and verbal communication, especially framing trade-offs and presenting to senior leadership. Experience mentoring or leading other PMs. Experience with B2B workflow software, supply chain platforms, or logistics technology is a plus.
