V7 is building AI platforms that help humans do their best work at scale. The company's mission is to turn human knowledge into trustworthy AI, making complex tasks faster, smarter, and more accurate. V7 Go is a document-heavy workflow automation platform for finance and insurance teams, combining workflow automation, a Context Graph for queryable organizational knowledge, and AI-powered chat. The product processes tens of millions of documents for customers and achieved 4x revenue growth last year with 160%+ upsell. You will own V7 Go end-to-end—the entire product, not a corner of it. You'll work with a small, focused team of engineers and designers with founders close by. The role requires you to define the product vision and roadmap, make trade-off decisions between competing priorities (sales requests, customer demands, strategic bets), and ship continuously rather than in quarterly chunks. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the complete roadmap and deciding what gets built, what gets killed, and what ships - Identifying which problems are genuinely worth solving versus what's noise - Defining success criteria before building and validating outcomes post-launch - Making and clearly communicating trade-off decisions (what's in, what's out, what's deliberately incomplete for now) - Keeping the product coherent across three major components (Workflows, Context Graph, Chat) so they feel like one unified product - Writing down decisions and rationale to keep a small team aligned - Driving adoption and impact, not just shipping tickets The product serves expert users in finance, insurance, and real estate who understand their domain deeply. It runs on latest models including GPT, Claude, and Gemini, with transparent logic and audit trails for compliance. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven track record owning a product end-to-end at a startup or company with serious product culture (discovery through launch, not backlog management) - Experience building for expert users in domains like B2B SaaS, fintech, insurtech, developer tools, or data platforms - Genuine hands-on experience with LLMs and agents—you build with them, have informed views on their strengths and limitations, and can distinguish real products from demos - Ability to have substantive technical conversations with engineers about trade-offs without needing translation - Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities - Opinionated but not precious; willing to be wrong and adapt - Strong written communication skills for documenting decisions and trade-offs
