Oscar Health is hiring Staff Product Managers to join its Product team. Oscar is a technology-first health insurance company founded in 2012, built around a full-stack technology platform with a focus on member and provider experience. This is a Staff-level individual contributor role reporting to a Director of Product. You will own end-to-end product strategy for one of two pillars: **Network (Provider Experience):** Own the product strategy for Oscar's provider experience, spanning onboarding through ongoing servicing. Define how Oscar becomes the easiest health insurance company for providers to work with by reducing friction across credentialing, authorizations, disputes, accounts receivable, and issue resolution. Build account management, servicing, and self-service capabilities that provide clear visibility into issue status and resolution paths. Establish measurement frameworks to understand key provider journeys, identify systemic friction points, and prioritize improvements across digital and operational touchpoints. Partner across Network Building, Provider Data Management, Network Operations, Claims Operations, Clinical Operations, and Member/Provider Service teams. **Network (Network Growth & Performance):** Own the product strategy for technology that enables Oscar to build and improve high-performing provider networks. Translate network strategies (product/benefit-based networks, co-branded partnerships) into scalable capabilities for identifying needs, prospecting providers, and managing contracting. Define product strategy for network planning, lead management, contracting workflows, and performance visibility. Connect signals such as single-case agreements, out-of-network authorizations, member dissatisfaction, and medical loss ratio pressure to actionable opportunities. Partner with Actuary, Network Contracting, Network Operations, Finance, Legal, and Data Science teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives that achieve operational efficiencies and business objectives - Partner with cross-functional leaders across Product, Design, Engineering, Network, and Operations to define strategy and roadmap - Collaborate with Engineering and Product leadership on resource trade-offs and team effectiveness - Provide recommendations for product enhancements and new product development - Develop operating models for new products in partnership with leadership **Requirements:** - 7+ years of product management experience - 5+ years driving rigorous prioritization processes - 5+ years working with tech systems and understanding basic technology infrastructure (backend services, database relationships, SQL) - 3+ years leading complex, cross-domain initiatives - 3+ years root-causing ambiguous problems, building roadmaps, and executing against them - For Provider Experience track: Experience building workflow, case-management, servicing, or account-management products across multistep operational journeys; experience establishing product strategy across fragmented processes, systems, and organizational owners - For Network Growth & Performance track: Experience building products supporting prospecting, acquisition, contracting, marketplace supply, or complex growth funnels; strong analytical experience translating market, customer, financial, and operational signals into prioritization and strategy **Bonus qualifications:** - Comfort in highly collaborative environments while driving toward decisions - Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; proven use of data to identify opportunities and evaluate success - End-to-end thinking ability; ability to connect top-level goals to implementation details - Ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels with strong communication - For Provider Experience: Experience with provider-facing healthcare products or payer-provider operations; familiarity with credentialing, claims disputes, accounts receivable, prior authorization, provider onboarding, or servicing - For Network Growth & Performance: Experience with health-plan network development, provider contracting, network economics, or network adequacy; familiarity with value-based, narrow, tiered, or product-specific network strategies; familiarity with healthcare economics and medical-loss-ratio drivers
